75th Anniversary Gala

On Saturday, October 2, the NJSME held a Gala Affair at the Liberty Science center in Jersey City to celebrate its 75th Anniversary.
Attendees were treated to a fantastic evening of fine dining, a jazz ensemble, and all the while being surrounded by interactive displays of the invention themed floor of the LSC.
The highlight of the evening for many in attendance was the special feature movie shown in nation's largest IMAX® Dome Theater. The movie, entitled “75 Years of Leadership” was an excellent tribute to the Society and was produced by Past President Jeff Biggs.
In addition to receiving a Resolution from the NJ State Legislature and the NJ State League of Municipalities, the NJSME was sent nearly 200 Municipal Proclamations applauding the accomplishments of the Society and congratulating the Society on its celebration of 75 years of service.
